When it comes to our projects, we:
- Run communication & community engagement campaigns that take on diverse issues of social justices;
- Build digital tools & infrastructure to better coordinate and capacitate our & others’ efforts; and,
- Support partners with technical, operational, & fiscal assistance and learning where possible,
Either way, we have one aim: to empower activist-driven change through communication, collaboration, & amplification.

In our #Comms Campaigns, we always seek to simplify the complex simple, speak to peoples’ lived realities, and center community understanding and agency.
In doing this, we always look to amplify those already making the change happen.
Our campaigns include:

Sharing important information and building connections that help communities voice their needs and interests, as we move towards a fairer, more sustainable future.
#EnergyComms
Addressing the energy crisis in South Africa by delivering critical information in a simple and digestible format and empower people and communities to shape decision making.
#CovidComms
A network of communications volunteers who worked alongside government and others to produce and distribute accurate and helpful information on the Covid-19 outbreak in SA.

Supported Campaigns
Incubating, assisting, & capacitating others
Activist organisations play a vital role in defending progress and driving change — but the work is tough and often under-supported.
We aim to make our solidarity practical by offering media support, technical help, and fiscal hosting — especially to grassroots, volunteer-led, and emerging groups working on causes we care about.
Our capacity is limited, but we offer what we can, where we can.
Currently, we provide support to these great campaigns:
National Youth Coalition SA (NYC-SA)
We are a progressive youth-led coalition that promotes the development of ethical and transformative young leaders who strive to ensure that all youth living in South Africa are empowered and supported in the attainment of their constitutional and human rights.
#PayTheGrants (#PTG)
A People’s campaign advocating for economic justice – demanding a Universal Basic Income Guarantee (UBIG). We help our people access the support they deserve, confront corruption, push for better systems and policies, and advocate for basic income. Nothing about us without us
Save Our Sacred Lands (SOSL)
A united collective of activists, citizens and various Khoi and San councils and structures opposing the desecration of the land at the confluence of the Black and Liesbeek Rivers in Cape Town, which for thousands of years has been sacred to the Khoi and San people.
Noluthuso
A community-based organisation in KZN aiming to close the gaps with disability women and children. Strengthen their rights and fight against any form of abuse towards disabled women and children.
